TAMPAN Finds Royal Patron: Araba of Ota Decorated in Style
The Araba of Ota, Oluwo (Dr.) Fasola Faniyi Babatunde Olu-Isese, has been decorated as the Patron of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ado-Odo/Ota Chapter.
The TAMPAN's state governor, Prince Owolabi Ajasa,also known as the Inspector General of Police of Nollywood, performed the decoration, at the Heritage Hotel in Ota.
Prince Ajasa praised Oluwo Fasola's significant contributions to TAMPAN and the theater industry, citing his expertise as crucial to promoting the association's objectives.
He emphasized the importance of utilizing theater art to tell the stories and preserve the history of Awori land, highlighting its potential to serve as a yardstick for political campaigns and cultural preservation.
The Chairman, planning committee,Pastor Femi Atunramu revealed that TAMPAN's structure in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government is one of its kind to take Ota and its environ to another level.
Accepting the honor, Oluwo Fasola pledged to go the extra mile to ensure TAMPAN achieves its goals, advising members to collaborate to drive success in Ota expressing optimism that this development would boost the growth and development of the theater and art industry in Ota and beyond.
"This milestone is expected to have a positive impact on the community, fostering artistic growth and cultural preservation". Faniyi said.
