Art, Culture and Creative Economy Minister, Hannatu Musawa Commends Governor Soludo’s Solution Fun City Development

The Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has applauded the growth of the entertainment and creative industry in Anambra State under Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, during a courtesy visit to the Solution Fun City, in Awka, the state capital.

Musawa, who described the expansion of the sector in Anambra as a proof of the country’s growing creative capacity, stated that she was impressed by the creativity, innovation, and economic opportunities the Solution Fun City project exemplifies.

The Minister who affirms the federal government’s commitment to supporting similar initiatives across the country to strengthen the creative economy, stated that the facility reflects the fusion of art, culture, tourism, and social inclusion, which should be emulated by other states for economic and social development.

While expressing satisfaction for the infrastructure at the Solution Fun City, Musawa commended Governor Soludo for his visionary leadership in creating an enabling environment that promotes economic growth and job creation through culture and entertainment.

Describing the Minister’s visit as a major boost for the state’s creative sector, the Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Mr. Don Onyenji, highlighted the remarkable progress achieved under Governor Soludo’s administration and reaffirmed the state’s readiness to deepen collaboration with the federal government in promoting art, culture, and entertainment.

The sprawling 12.7hectare leisure and tourism complex, is a "world-class entertainment and relaxation centre," that boasts a cinema, a waterpark with six different swimming pools, family and children's play zones, and an arcade and country club, offering a diverse range of activities for all demographics.

It is a project poised to inject new life into Anambra's economy, for job creation, with many members already recruited and trained, and another proof of the governor's commitment to transforming Anambra from a departure lounge to a destination, the Dubai-Silicon Valley of the country.
