TRACE-Road Users Advised To Maintain Decorum At This Yuletide Period

  The Chief Executive Officer,(CEO), Ogun State Traffic Law Enforcement and Compliance (TRACE), 'Seni Ogunyemi has admonished the road users to comply to all traffic regulations especially at this yuletide period in order to ensure safety on our roads.


The Trace Commander in Ogun State, Seni Ogunyemi, represented by, Area Commander Training and Public Enforcement, Abdul Olabode, made this declaration during the "EMBER" month team routine exercise in Ota.



According to him, traffic sensitisation and education is a continuous  exercise which is germane to safe lives on our roads adding that rush at this ember month should be totally eradicated amongst the road users in particular and residents in general.


"We must manage our expectations, we do not have to rush at this ember month, there is need to understand that road is shared and to exercise cautions is very critical.Therefore, let's ensure decency, obey traffic rules which in no doubt would improve live expectancy", he said.


He added that traffic sensitisation at this yuletide period is special, throughout various divisions in Ogun State saying the corps had moved round the state to sensitise, which the result is been felt at this period.


The Area 4 commander, Adekunle Ajibade said the corps would not relent in its efforts at ensuring that our roads are safed adding that  government in its intensifying efforts would not relent in developing infrastructure and providing palliatives to make our roads smooth, for usage.


He enjoined residents to adhere strictly to gevernment's pronouncement on Covid-19 during this season noting that Christmas is a yearly festivity which must be celebrated in moderacy.
