OGUN CUSTOMARY COURT GETS 2 NEW GRADE 1 PRESIDENTS, 25 MEMBERS

 The Ogun State Customary Court of Appeal President, Hon. Justice Mobolaji Ojo has sworn-in 2 new Grade 1 Presidents and 25 other members of the Customary Court, with a charge on them to discharge their duties with utmost interest, dedication and fear of God.


Justice Ojo who gave the admonition while administering oath of office on the new judicial officers at the Ceremonial Hall of the Judiciary Complex, Kobape road, Abeokuta, warned them to guide against unwanted misconduct and make punctuality their watchword.

He noted that the present administration would not accept absenteeism, truancy and any misconstrued in the course of their duty.

"I implore you to guide against negative tendencies and approach your duties with the highest sense of responsibility, do not hesitate to report any erring member of staff to the appropriate quarters. You must all be vigilant as we all represent the image of the Ogun State Judiciary", Ojo said.

In her admonition, the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu tasked that they should shun corruption, nepotism, favouritism, and uphold allegiance and oath of office.

"Indeed, this is not a political appointment, but a call to service, you need to deliver your judgement without fear and favour with dignity, integrity and passion. It is important to be steadfast, dedicated and committed to your work", Dipeolu said.

Those sworn-in as Grade 1 Presidents are Mrs. Omotayo Alli-Balogun and Mrs. Olanrewaju Lanre, while Mrs. Begusa Oluwafunmilayo, Mr. Oderinde David, Mrs. Esther Asenuga, Mr. Samson Aina, and 21 others are sworn-in as members.
