  LEADERSHIP IS BESTOWED, NOT BY ONE'S EFFORT- ODUSILE

The Ogun State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Odusile has said that the position of leadership is not by one’s effort, but that which is bestowed by God.

Odusile who said this during a get-together organised to celebrate him on the occasion on his 56th birthday, was full of surprises, appreciated God for his life and the position he is occupying, saying He is the ultimate planner.

"My being alive today is the work of God and He has designed my being here as a Commissioner. This goes to show that leadership is not something you force upon yourself but can come your way if God wills ", he said.

The Commissioner urged staffers of the Ministry to be at peace with one another and not indulge in activities that could put the State in a bad light.

Speaking, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Abiodun Awere expressed satisfaction at the effort of the Commissioner since he assumed office, saying "the speedy turnaround of things in this Ministry cannot go unnoticed. I pray God to preserve your life”.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Information and Media, Mr. Leland Osiade also marked his birthday, praising God for his benevolence.
