Ogun LG Poll: Majekodunmi, Somide, Balogun Hopeful Of APC Winning In Abeokuta South



The chairmanship candidate of All Progressives Congress APC in Abeokuta South local government in the ongoing election, Hon Omolaja Majekodunmi, Hon Michael Ayodeji Somide, Hon Afeez Balogun, Dorego, and other leaders has expressed their hope in winning the election in a landslide to victory.

Majekodunmi casted his vote in his ward in Igbore alongside his staunch followers who also exercised their civic duties at exactly 1:42pm of Saturday 24th of July 2021.

While speaking with the journalists he expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the election by the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission OGSIEC, he also appreciated the voters who came out massively to exercise their rights by voting their conscience in a peaceful manner.

"I must express satisfaction with the way and manner the election is being conducted by OGSIEC, also our people really conduct themselves without any rancor in almost all the booth I visited today, I am hopeful our party All Progressive Congress APC will win the election by the grace of Almighty God" he says.

He was accompanied by the transition chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon Ayodeji Michael Shomide, Hon Afeez Balogun, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abiodun, among other governments functionaries from Abeokuta south.

While one of the journalists asked him of his permanent voters card PVC he brought it out and showed the entire people to clear some insinuations that he doesn't have a voters card.

Before we left the voting booth there was no record of violence as the party agents cooperated with the officials of OGSIEC and the security agencies towards a smooth election.
