Family Buries Five Children Who Died During Their Mother's Birthday Celebration
A family in St. Louis Missouri, United States have buried five children that died during their mother's birthday celebration.
The burial service was conducted by Greater St. Mark Church of God in Christ on the 21st of August, 2021 and the children were buried at the Sunset Garden of Memory Cemetery in Milstadk.
It is reported that the mother of the children, Sabrina Dunigan had celebrated her birthday on the 9th of August, 2021. She was said to have left her apartment with her children inside under the care their grandfather and his wife to pick up her boyfriend who was suppose to deliver balloons to the venue for decoration.
At about 03:45 a.m when she returned back, she found the apartment engulfed with fire, she tried to rescue the children but it was late as they had already died.
The grandfather of the children and his wife were said to have escaped the incident by jumping down from the second floor of the apartment.
Fire Marshalls said they believe the fire started from the front of the building and the children must have died due to inhalation of smoke.
The names of the five children are given as; Deontae Davis, 9, Heaven and Nevaeh (Twins) 8, Jabari Johnson, 4 and Loy'el Dunigan, 2.
