OTA LG BOSS ASSURES RESIDENTS OF SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT 

The Executive Chairman, Ado-odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Musa Sheriff

has assured people living in the Council Area of infrastructurral developments that would relieve them of the hardships being faced by road users in the area.

Hon. Musa Sheriff made have this assurance while addressing the protesters from  Ikoro- Otun and Itele communities who stormed the Local Government Secretariat to protest the poor state of their roads.

He maintained that his  administration would do everything in its power to reduce the hardships of commuters in Itele and Ikoro -otun communities, explaining that steps had been taken to liase with necessary authorities as regards roads generally in the council area.  

He promised to provide some paliative as soon as the  rain stops,  in order to  reduce the hardship being experienced by the road users.

In the same vain, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Bamgbose appealed to the community leaders to continue to engage government in dialogue rather than violence, saying government will always do the needful at ensuring that dividends of democracy get to all.

Speaking earlier, the Area Community Development Committees Chairmen, Mr. Fatunbi Mufutau and Mr. Kilani Fatai of Ikoro- Otun and Itele communities respectively, appreciated the prompt attention given to them by the Local Government under the leadership of Hon. Musa Sheriff.
