Army Discovers Wreckage Of AirForce Jet That Disappeared In 2021 At Sambisa Forest

The Nigerian Army on Saturday announced that its troops of Operation Desert Sanity on clearance patrol in Sambisa Forest, Borno State, have uncovered the wreckage of crashed Airforce jet.

The Alpha Jet aircraft (NAF475) with two crew members went off the radar on 31 March, 2021 and since then, the whereabouts of both the aircraft and the crew members were unknown.

However, on Saturday, the army in a statement said its troops uncovered the wreckage of the plane during its clearance operation in the Sambisa Forest, Borno State.
