Breaking: Building collapses in Lagos
A building located on Adeleye Street, Lady Lack in the Bariga Area of Lagos, has collapsed.
The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who disclosed this, said the building went down a few minutes ago.
Oke-Osanyintolu said the Agency’s Cobra team is currently at Onipanu en route to the incident scene.
He added that LASEMA has activated its response plan to the scene.
In his situation report at about 10.47 p.m., he said: “Collapsed Building at Adeleye Street, Bariga.
The Agency has activated its response plan to the above incident. All first responders are en route.
