Kidnapped female journalist regains freedom
Mrs Priestba Anthony Nwokocha, Director of News, Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation (RSBC) kidnapped last Thursday in Port Harcourt has regained her freedom.
The Director of Administration RSBC of Ebi Ogolo, her colleague who broke the news of her kidnap has confirmed her release in the early hours of Thursday.
The abductors had demanded N150million ransom but reduced it to N10million.
It is however not clear if ransom was paid before she was released in the early hours of today.
It would recalled that the Director of News, Priestba Anthony Wokocha was abducted on Thursday night when her car broke down on her way from work.
She was trying to fix it with her husband and mechanic when she was abducted.
The Rivers Police Command has not released official statement on the circumstances of her freedom.
