Must-Watch Romantic Dramas and Reality TV Moments You Can’t Miss

Must-Watch Romantic Dramas and Reality TV Moments You Can’t Miss

What’s with always being drawn back to our exes at the most inconvenient times? You could be, minding your business, enjoying life with your current partner, then boom, your past pops up, uninvited, looking like trouble you’re not ready for. That’s exactly the messy, heart-pulling situation in the movie Sunset on the Beach, and trust me, this one doesn’t just play with your emotions; it holds them hostage.

In the movie, everything starts out sweet. A couple goes on a romantic beach getaway, sun, sand, and all those cute moments you see in the movies. Then, out of nowhere, the woman’s ex shows up with his current partner. From there, it’s awkward stares, old feelings creeping in, and tension thick enough to cut with a knife. You’ll be torn between telling her to run for her life or admit that maybe, just maybe, there’s still something there.

This drama hits Africa Magic Showcase on August 24th at 8:35 pm on GOtv channel 8. But that’s not all, Africa Magic is loading your August watchlist with more drama. Here are some other premieres you should have on your radar:

Love Don’t Cost a Dime: This is the kind of love story that doesn’t wait for permission; it just happens. Fiona and Henry meet and have what they both think is a one-night thing, but that single night ends up changing everything about their lives. It’s messy, it’s unexpected, and it’s the kind of drama you can’t look away from. Catch it on Africa Magic Family at 8 pm, August 16th, GOtv Channel 7.

Chronicles of a Lagos Bachelor: Living with one bachelor is one thing, living with four is a whole different headache. These guys move in together and quickly realise that sharing space means sharing drama. But when one of them lands in serious trouble, they have to put their differences aside fast. See how it plays out on Africa Magic Showcase, at 9 pm, August 17th, GOtv Channel 8.

Reprisal Attack: Nnanna thought he was starting a new life with Evelyn, marriage, love, and a fresh start in Canada. But the truth is, Evelyn had been playing her own game all along. Now that she’s pregnant and the truth has come out, Nnanna has to deal with the betrayal that hits hard. Watch it on Africa Magic Epic on August 22nd, 7 pm, GOtv Channel 6.

Mama’s Big Stick: Emeka and Anthonia agree to hold off on kids until they’ve made enough money to live the life they want. Sounds like a solid plan — until their mothers hear about it. What was supposed to be their private decision quickly turns into family drama. Don’t miss it on Africa Magic Epic on August 24th, 7 pm, GOtv Channel 6.

Big Brother Naija: If you’re the type that lives for unfiltered drama, then Big Brother Naija is exactly your vibe this season. The housemates clearly didn’t come to play; the drama is at a solid 10/10. Just three weeks in, and strikes and warnings have been flying around like confetti. Three housemates are already out, and more could be booted any time soon. Tune in to the Big Brother Naija Channel, GOtv Channel 49 for 24/7 access, and don’t miss the Live Eviction Show on Sundays at 7 pm on Africa Magic Family GOtv Channel 7 and Africa Magic Showcase GOtv Channel 8.
