FCMB Launches In-App Mutual Fund Investment Feature

First City Monument Bank (FCMB), a subsidiary of FCMB Group Plc, has introduced a new feature on its Mobile App that enables customers to open investment accounts and invest directly in mutual funds managed by FCMB Asset Management, the Group’s wealth creation arm.

This innovation marks another milestone in FCMB Group’s ongoing digital transformation journey, an initiative aimed at integrating all its business verticals into a single, full-service financial ecosystem that empowers customers to bank, invest, and grow wealth seamlessly.

With the new in-app investment feature, customers can now access FCMB Asset Management’s range of mutual funds, including:

Legacy Money Market Fund – a low-risk fund focused on liquidity and capital preservation;

Legacy Equity Fund – a growth-oriented fund targeting long-term capital appreciation;

Legacy Debt Fund – a predominantly naira-denominated bond fund offering steady income; and

Legacy USD Bond Fund – a dollar-denominated fund designed for investors seeking foreign currency exposure.

These investment options cater to varying risk appetites and financial goals, from short-term liquidity needs to long-term wealth creation and income generation.
