ipNX Reaffirms Commitment to Broadband Expansion in Courtesy Visit to NCC Chairman

An executive delegation from ipNX Nigeria Limited has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Idris Olorunnimbe, reaffirming its commitment to advancing Nigeria’s broadband agenda.

The visit, held in April 2026, brought together key stakeholders in the telecommunications sector, including Ejovi Aror, Group Managing Director of ipNX; Dr. Olusola Teniola, Director of Strategic Business Initiatives at ipNX; and Engr. Sunday Abraham Oshadami, Executive Commissioner for Technical Services at the NCC.

The engagement served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between the private sector and the regulator, with discussions centred on accelerating broadband penetration and fostering inclusive digital growth across the country.

Speaking during the visit, Aror underscored the importance of strong leadership and policy direction in driving Nigeria’s digital transformation.

“We are pleased to engage with the new Chairman of the NCC and demonstrate our support as he assumes this important responsibility. Strong institutional leadership and clear policy direction are critical to unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s digital economy,” he said.

He added that ipNX remains committed to partnering with the Commission and other stakeholders to expand broadband access, improve connectivity in educational institutions, and bridge the digital divide.

“This collaboration will empower millions of Nigerians and further position the country as a leader in Africa’s technological evolution,” Aror noted.

In his remarks, Olorunnimbe expressed appreciation for the visit and the company’s continued support, reiterating the Commission’s resolve to create an enabling environment for private sector participation in the telecommunications industry.

He stressed the NCC’s commitment to achieving universal broadband access and promoting sustainable growth in Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.

ipNX is widely regarded as a key player in the delivery of broadband and ICT solutions in Nigeria, and the visit highlights its ongoing dedication to supporting national development through technology-driven initiatives.
